Thessaloniki, Greece’s second city established at 315 BC in the Hellenic era and mainly linked to its Byzantine heritage. 

The city referred to as an open-air Byzantine museum, and declared as historical landmark monuments with 15 of them to be included in the Unesco World heritage List in 1988.
